About Me

Jam: I wanted a place to keep it simple. A place to take a few steps back, in a world that seems to be careening forward at a blurring place, tempting to take our children with it. This is that place. You're busy... I know. We're all busy. It shouldn't mean that we should have to sacrifice or rush through those things that are most important to us as parents and/or people. I'm a nurse, a friend, a sister, a daughter. I am, or have been (depending on my season of life), a runner, yogi, and CrossFitter. Admittedly, I sleep little, and dream lots. Mostly tho, I'm a wife &mama trying to stay Primal: in faith, parenting, and in nourishing my family. I believe food is meant to be clean, and life to be celebrated with all gratitude and praise for it, given to Him. I'm new to the Primal eating lifestyle, and I'm also a new Homeschooling Mama. If you, too, feel a bit rushed through this blessed life, stick around for lots of random primal thoughts, and the occasional primal recipe :)
